Part of the How the SEO and AI Readiness Audit Runs guide.
These are the questions we are asked most often before an SEO and AI Readiness Audit is booked, answered plainly. They cover what access is needed, how long it takes, how the Standard and Extended tiers are decided, how AI visibility is tested, and what a business can do with the report afterwards.
Key takeaways
- 01The audit needs read access to four accounts and your answers to three questions, nothing else, to start.
- 02The tier is decided by a crawl before the quote is confirmed, never revised upward afterwards.
- 03The report is written for any developer, so implementation can happen anywhere.
About these questions
Most of these questions arrive in the first email, before a site address, and the answers rarely change from one business to the next. What changes is the site, which is why every quote is preceded by a crawl rather than a conversation. The answers above are the short form. The full method, from intake to scoring, is in the guide to how the SEO and AI Readiness Audit runs, and the tier qualifiers, prices and deliverables are on the Standard and Extended audit pages. If your question is about a specific site, the crawl we run before quoting is the fastest way to answer it.
Frequently asked questions
What access do you need to run the audit?
Read access to Google Search Console, GA4, Google Business Profile and Bing Webmaster Tools, granted to an account we name. Nothing is changed in any of them. We also need your answers to three questions about what you sell, who buys it and what they ask, because those answers become the prompts tested against the AI engines.
How long does the audit take?
Ten business days for the Standard tier and fifteen for the Extended tier, counted from the day the access is in place. Each ends with a recorded walkthrough of the roadmap, 45 minutes on Standard and 90 minutes with written questions and answers on Extended.
How do you decide which tier my site is?
We crawl the site before confirming the quote. Standard applies when every qualifier holds, up to 50 indexable pages, one location and profile, no checkout, portal or booking engine, and a conventional build. Any one exception means Extended. If the crawl changes the tier we say so before starting, and we never invoice a higher tier afterwards.
Why do you run every prompt three times?
Because the AI engines give different answers to the same question on different days and in different sessions. One check tells you what happened once. Three fresh-session runs per prompt, across four or five engines, give a citation rate stable enough to make decisions on and to measure again after the roadmap has shipped.
Can my own developer implement the roadmap?
Yes, and most do. Every finding names the template or URL group affected, the evidence, the expected impact, the effort, an owner and an acceptance criterion a developer can test against. The roadmap is written for any developer, including one who is not us, and the audit fee is not credited against later work with us.
